AF GRAPHIT FOAM

AF GRAPHIT FOAM is a thermo-expansive fire-resistant foam with graphite. This is a bicomponent polyurethane-based product contained in a cartridge that allows the simultaneous extrusion of the two components in a mixing chamber inside the application nozzle. AF GRAPHIT FOAM, once hardened, can be easily cut and drilled with a cutter or other suitable tool.

AF GRAPHIT FOAM is used for sealing openings up to 400x250 mm of electrical cable and cable tray penetrations, corrugated pipes and insulated metal pipes (max Ø 50 mm with 20 mm of Armaflex® insulation), combustible pipes up to Ø 50 mm and multilayer pipes up to 30 mm + 10 mm of insulation.

APPLICATION METHOD:

  1. screw the mixing nozzle on the cartridge and insert the cartridge inside a spray gun;
  2. apply the AF GRAPHIT FOAM starting from the farthest point and carefully avoid plunging the mixing nozzle into the extruded product;
  3. completely saturate the opening, reaching a minimum depth of 120 mm;
  4. avoid interrupting extrusion for more than five seconds to prevent sudden hardening of the material in the mixer.

SPRAY GUN

We recommend using the appropriate manual gun to apply the necessary force during the extrusion process. The spray gun using manual applied force provides a quick and easy release of the perfectly mixed bicomponent product.

PACKAGING AND STORAGE

Each pack contains a 330 ml cartridge equipped with a mixing nozzle;

The product remains intact for 12 months under standard conditions (5-35°C).
