AF PIPEGUARD

AF PIPEGUARD is a special sleeve to be applied on the unexposed side of uninsulated bare metal and aluminium pipe penetrations and busbars. The product prevents a fire caused through the ignition created by the hot metal in the penetration passing from one compartment to another. The application of AF PIPEGUARD maintains the temperature on the unexposed side of the compartment at significantly low levels (< 180°C).

AF PIPEGUARD is made of a glass wool mat quilted between two glass fabrics - the external fabric is aluminised, the internal fabric is coated with an ablative painting product.
